He mihi mahana ki ngā mātua/kaumātua, nā koutou i tuku ō koutou tino taonga ki a mātou nei hei wānanga. Ki ngā rangatahi - ō mātou nei hōnore ki te mahi ki ō koutou taha. Kua kitea te ānga whakamua. Mīharo!

Huge mihi to our rangatahi who participated in the third Te Hoe Tū Wānanga, each of you showed us a glimpse of our future leadership and we look forward to seeing you shine, i te iti, i te rahi, te katoa!

A special shout out to Nikorima Te Miha who received the Kaihautū hoe, awarded for hūmārie, manaakitanga, awhina, me ngā kōrero pai, tētahi ki tētahi.

Throughout Te Hoe Tū, our rangatahi engaged in pōwhiri, kōrero, and wānanga at Te Āwhina Marae, challenged themselves at the High Ropes Course and Taiao Games at Whenua Iti, held a Tuatara at Natureland with awesome commentary from Michael Elkington, raced, capsized, and up righted waka ama, performed haka salutes on the water, sang waiata, and of course, shared some amazing kaitahi.
