Factory Support
• Reporting to: Factory Manager
• Location: Te Aro, Wellington
• Permanent Part Time: 3 days per week

The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a hard working, friendly and professional person to provide support to our factory team in Wellington and to undertake the following key duties:
• General laboring duties incl. compliance and quality tasks
• Managing inwards goods, packing, unloading and documentation & office support
• Assist with unloading of fish at wharf and delivery to customers as required
• Support the team with end to end processing operations as required by your manager
What You Will Bring:
You will bring a strong understanding of health & safety, food safety awareness and have good verbal and written communication. Your flexibility, strong work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude will set you up for success in this varied role.
You’ll need to be physically fit, have a valid forklift certificate and the ability to work as part of a tight knit team. You will have previous factory experience, and a track record for being a reliable and loyal employee who takes pride in their work, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. Knowledge of fin fish species would be advantageous. You must also have a full, clean, New Zealand Drivers License.

Retail Manager

We’re looking for a dedicated and hands on Retail Manager to ensure our retail store of New Zealand’s premium kaimoana within the Moore Wilson city store tells the unique story of Moana New Zealand and provides consumers with a true connection to our people, our kaimoana and the water it comes from.
As a Retail Manager, you will support your team and upper Management in all areas of the business. You will work with a close knit team to deliver excellent customer services experience and strive to embed Moana New Zealand’s vision and values in everyday behavior ensuring;
To be successful you will need to have 3 years relevant experience, plus people management experience in a retail or customer service environment. Exceptional problem solving skills and a proactive approach will see you succeed in this position. You will be responsible for one supervisor and up to ten casual and permanent retail assistants
This is a permanent position reporting to the Operations Manager who is responsible for the Wellington Fin Fish division, for Moana New Zealand.
This position is 5 days per week, including 1 weekend day.

• Helping to maintain an efficient and professional delivery service.
• Filling out required documentation
• Unloading trucks
• Grading and packing of seafood
• General factory duties
• Labouring and general duties
What You Will Bring:
You will bring a strong understanding of health & safety, food safety awareness and have good verbal and written communication. Your can do attitude, along with pride in representing Moana and delivering a high standard of work at all times will be well suited to this varied role.
You’ll need to be physically fit and have the ability to work as part of a tight knit team. Your experience in food handling and knowledge of fin fish species is preferred, and a good local driving knowledge. You must also have a full, clean, New Zealand Drivers Licence.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the role requires flexibility in working hours as you may be required to start work in the afternoon or evening depending on supply. On occasion you may be required to work Saturday mornings.
