Dayveen Stephens is a Community Compliance Officer for Inland Revenue specializing in advising and educating Māori organisations of their tax obligations across Te Tauihu.
With over 20 years’ experience in this field, Dayveen also proactively engages with whānau, hapū and iwi to maintain a working relationship between Inland Revenue and Māori. Originally from Waikato Tainui, Dayveen’s strong upbringing in tikanga Māori has enabled her to utilizes her skills in supporting Marae across the Top of the South. Dayveen enjoys hanging out with her whānau and on occasion attending spin classes at her local gym.”
