Registered members of Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Maui can apply for the following scholarships and programmes.
Outward Bound
Te Ātiawa offers one place per year to a registered beneficiary between the ages of 18 and 26 on Outward Bound’s Classic Course. Over the 21-day adventure you will experience all outdoor elements and activities Outward Bound has to offer. However, sailing, kayaking, bush craft and navigation comes second place to the challenge of believing there is more in you, and you can achieve your dreams if you persevere. Marlborough Lines Tertiary Scholarship for Māori
Applications are now open for this scholarship which is open to both adult learners and college leavers who identify as Māori and reside within the catchment of Marlborough Lines (i.e., the Marlborough region west to Rangitoto/d’Urville Island, north to the Marlborough Sounds and south to Waipapa Bay on the eastern coast).

Two scholarship opportunities are available for registered Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui students studying towards a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Hons) at Victoria University of Wellington.
