Interests: Mahi toi, Kura Kaupapa Māori

Iwi representative for the Nelson Marlborough Conservation Board, Kaiteretere Recreation Reserve Board, Motueka Museum and am a Trustee at Te Āwhina Marae, Te Hauora o Te Āwhina Marae and the Māori representative for Creative communities (Tasman)

Protection of the environment, natural resources, taonga species (and continued access to these), retention of and passing on of matauranga, kawa, tikanga, mahi toi and ngā taonga tuku iho is what I am most passionate about.

I live in Motueka with my whānau and am a flax roots person, active within my marae, Iwi, hapū and whānau.

I am excited about the future for Te Ātiawa and love that we are a diverse, travelled, skilled, talented, experienced people with many success stories that will contribute to our future development.
