Tēnā tātou e te iwi, i runga i ngā āhuatanga o te wā.

The Government has put in place a Fast Track process for some large developments across the country. The building of bigger Cook Strait ships and a new ferry terminal complex in Waitohi to cater for this, is one of those developments. Te Ātiawa Trust is working alongside KiwiRail and others on this development. A Kawenata/Agreement outlining this working relationship between Te Ātiawa Trust and KiwiRail is being signed at Waikawa Marae on Thursday 11 March, commencing with pōwhiri at 10.00am. A warm invitation is extended to whānau to join us at this event.
